Green Jobs: jobs for the future
Green jobs: what they are and why it is worth focusing on them
Green jobs are not just a technical response to the climate crisis, but concrete professional opportunities that are reshaping markets, skills, and career paths. According to UNEP, these are occupations that preserve or restore environmental quality and can arise as new roles or as “green” evolutions of existing professions, operating in manufacturing, services, research, and administration.
The greatest job opportunities are concentrated in renewables, energy efficiency, sustainable construction, waste management, mobility, and agroecology; roles such as energy managers, solar and wind power plant designers and installers, energy certifiers, ESG consultants, agronomists, and recycling specialists are among the most in demand.
